How to make a DIY Fall Inspired Skirt (With Pockets)!

Now that it’s December, it’s a bit too late to this a fall post, although that was exactly what it was supposed to be…

Fall is when it’s still mild enough to dress like this without a thick coat. Personally I like to wear this outfit with thick tights and a jumper and to keep me toasty warm. Psychologically, I think the warm colour of the fabric also numbs the cold since it reminds me of a piping Starbucks hot chocolate (even thought I rarely drink the stuff).

This is such an easy DIY, requiring just 1m  of fabric for both the skirt and the scarf. Although I haven’t uploaded a tutorial for the scarf yet, it will be coming soon so if you’re looking for any easy last minute DIY Christmas gifts to use up your scrap fabric, this is definitely a DIY for you.

I hope you like this tutorial and that you enjoy making this, both in fall/winter and whenever you need a  skirt with pockets.
